Race Info

Join us on the evening of Friday, June 27th. You’ll have your choice of running a FULL marathon distance (with a 4-person team, a 2-person team, or as a solo runner), a HALF marathon distance (with a 2-person team or as a solo runner), or just a 5K distance by yourself. Teams may be male, female, or co-ed. Team age brackets/awards will be based on the average age of the team members. Packet pickup and late registration begins at 5pm. All distances will begin together just after 7pm. Teams will have space to set up a tent and chairs in the team area. Teams can begin setting up at 6:30pm. After your race, be sure to join us near the library for food and beverages! Click here to register!  We’ll can have a maximum of 100 total relay teams.  No limit on 5K participants. Proceeds from this event will go to support the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville.

Relay Details

Each loop of the course is 0.7 mile. Each team will be allowed a 10’x10′ area for tent/chairs setup. $100 prize for the best decorated team area! Tent setup at 6:30pm. Water and snacks will be available for finishers, but teams will be responsible for their own in-race snacks and beverages. To keep the racing fair, relay teams are asked to divide the running duties as equally as possible between all members of the team. (Full will be 38 laps. Half will be 19 laps. 5K will be 5 laps. Start line adjusted for correct distance on first lap.) All participants will be responsible for counting your own laps completed and will need to check-in with the timers immediately after finishing your full race distance. Each relay team will be assigned one relay baton for timing and one corresponding bib for each runner on the team for identification.

Awards for top finishers:

Relay Full and Half (Male, Female, and Coed Categories) Under 25, 25-44, 45+, and Masters (all members 50+).

Solo Male & Female – Under 25, 25-44, 45+, and 50+

5K – Top 2 Male & Female
